This blog was supposed to go up yesterday but, it was my husbands birthday and our wedding anniversary so my blogging schedule got a little moved around. Date night out waits for no man! lol.
I am so excited to share some beautiful pieces from J.Jill with you! And wait for it….all of the looks I am sharing today are available in regular and plus sizes! J.Jill specializes in relaxed chic pieces that work great together or as separates. The quality shines through, and they carry XS-4X, and have a petite and tall section(can I get a hallelujah for the size inclusivity here!). What I really enjoy about these particular pieces is that they are distinctly autumn, each garment is simple and well made and gives the woman wearing them the chance to lend her personality to the pieces.
Outfits are linked below.
I have not styled a co-ordinate set before, and as I learned its really simple. Grab some fabulous shoes and a great bag and you are good to go! This is a sweater set, the skirt and top are the same knit fabric in a soft heather green. I love the length of this skirt, I am 5’6″ and midi skirts are either too short or too long on me. This particular skirt is the perfect midi length for me, and is one of the reasons this set is unique.
If you have been reading for awhile then you know I lead a super casual life. I don’t talk about work wear mostly because I never get the chance to actually wear “office appropriate” garments. These ponte pants are a great mix of comfort and office ready style. I styled them with a rayon blend peplum top that was a little bit snug across the bust(size up ladies and thank me later). This look would be really cute with the shirt untucked and some ballet flats, for a day at the office or in the classroom.
There really isn’t anything more versatile than a ponte knit dress, especially as we head into fall and winter. When I ordered this dress I couldn’t decide if it was an A-line fit or a swing fit, and really I still can’t decide LOL. It falls firmly in the in between, the weight of the fabric doesn’t allow it to billow the way a swing dress does, but the cut of the dress is universally flattering like a swing dress. The scarf was a gift from my hubby for christmas last year, and just happened to go PERFECTLY! Remember what I was saying earlier about J.Jill pieces? Each garment is quality and simple so that the wearer can let their own personality shine through. This dress is the perfect example of this. It has a luxe feel, but in a great color that goes with so much for Fall.
I will have more J.Jill pieces on the blog in the future, but you can look back on some fall posts from years past. HERE, HERE and HERE

I love J.Jill and the pieces that I have I have come across at thrift stores. Seeing these beautiful pieces I may have to visit their on line site or find a store. I love the inclusivity idea too. You and Liz are always posting these gorgeous outfits that I am jealous towards, but I am not quite a plus size, so I can’t purchase from places like Avenue. However, that doesn’t stop me from being inspired by all of your looks. I love that dress and the scarf is the perfect accessory. Great looks! – Amy
