Ok, this dress is bright, its bright and crazy and has so much going on( pockets, a belt). I recently purchased a new leopard clutch, and you know that thing that happens when you get something new that you love and it just so happens to match everythhinnggg that you own. So you somehow figure out how to wear or carry that piece with everything and to you its perfect. LOL. Well currently that’s me, and luckily I was right about mixing these two patterns. The cool green of this dress pops with the warm tones of the leopard clutch. Taking fashion risks is required from time to time, I am the type of girl that sticks to the routine. I have preached on this blog before about having a “fashion uniform” and sticking with it, but once in awhile its good to shake it up.
One of the fun parts of being a fashion blogger is having the chance to try out different trends and styles that you might not usually go for. I never would have dreamed that I could pull off a dress like this, but I take it as a personal style challenge to make different pieces my own. The best part? When things come together exactly the way you dreamed up.
Are the shoes a little over the top? Maybe. Is that ok? Hell yes. Playing different color tones off each other is a great way to try out pattern mixing without going for the classic stripes and florals mix. Its ok to be bold with what you wear, its ok to be curvy and bold and confident.
Take the fashion risk, and love yourself for going for it.
