This week on the blog I am sharing some November new arrivals from J. Jill, specifically outerwear with J.Jill style. I have a beautiful coat and woven top to share that are great as we move into winter, and the cooler months ahead.
J. Jill has so many options for the babe that enjoys luxe basics, they offer sizes in Misses, Petite, Plus and Tall. This is my first experience with J. Jill outerwear, and I really am impressed with the quality of the coat. I was nervous that the jacket would run small so I ordered a size up, and found that I should have gotten my true size. I styled the Chelsea coat with another new arrival the pleated back top. This look has that upscale luxe vibe that J. Jill is known for, the tunic pairs so easily with leggings, I opted to style the look with some over the knee boots to give the outfit a trendy edge.
Style Tip- Invest in a few basic coats that you can wear season after season, go for timeless shapes and fabrics that never go out of style. That way you can match you outerwear with what you are wearing for the day. Don’t know where to start? Go for a camel coat first. Then build your coat collection from there,
This is my second time featuring J Jill on the blog(click HERE for the first post) and I am seeing some similarities. Every piece that I have received is so easy to live in. Style is so important, but what is even more important is the ability to live in the clothing you wear. I need my clothes to be stylish and functional, this is ESPECIALLY important now that we are in an outerwear required situation. The Chelsea coat has so much style, from the color of the grey wool to the collar.
Before I wrap this post up, I wanted to touch on a super easy way to have the chicest outfit in the room. Grab some leggings, a white tunic top and some OTK boots. True to J.Jill style, this top is a total elevated basic, it flows off the body and doesn’t cling anywhere. Simple, chic and functional that is the way I want to dress everyday.
