Today on the blog I am excited to introduce a new brand to you and share an exciting body positive campaign that they are sharing with the world! Katie K Activewear is named after founder Katie Kozloff a former fitness trainer and designer, this brand was founded with a passion for helping women of all shapes and sizes. The Katie K team reached out to me about sharing their exciting #definebrave campaign. They hope to help inspire women to live boldly and as their authentic selves.
In todays post I am sharing how I will #definebrave.
It should come as no surprise that 2019-2020 has been life changing for me, I had my first child, and experienced all the things that pregnancy, birth and becoming a mother can bring. When Katie K reached out to me about sharing how I #definebrave I immediately thought of my journey as a new mom and how I have changed mentally and physically since I became pregnant. After you have a child your body changes, figuring how to heal, care for your newborn and adjust to a new body is overwhelming. One way that I am forging ahead and defining brave is by giving myself grace, time to heal and get to know the new Anne. The Anne that is a mother, wife, daughter, and friend.
Getting out of the cold and snow, and being outside in the warmth has been so therapeutic for me, its given me the time to really think on my journey as a mother. And its reminded me how much I love to get outside and move my body, I love taking walks and spending time in the outdoors. I think part of defining brave for me is finding my way back to getting out and moving again with my son in tow! Honoring my body and the journey its been on is a top priority for me, these days I think so many women believe that they need to bounce back after birth right away. I am saying NO to that way of thinking and being open about my journey, for me that is defining brave. Putting myself out there as a new mom, is how I am living bravely.

I styled three pieces from Katie K, the Essential Capri(teal), Galaxy Bridge Tee(black), and the Essential Sweatshirt(teal). When you shop use the code “ANNE30” at checkout for 30% off your order!
I am wearing a 1X in everything, but could have taken a 2X in the sweatshirt.
*My recommendation is to wash your pieces before wearing them.
