Today on the blog I want to talk about PILCRO denim from Anthropologie! I haven’t seen much in the form of reviews on the Anthropologie in house brand especially for plus size bodies. So I thought I would share my take aways after receiving and wearing the denim for the past couple of weeks. I am currently in a social media partnership with Anthropologie, they are gifting me a look or two each month, I am styling and sharing the pieces on my Instagram(follow me HERE).
I have already blogged the previous Anthro look from August you can see that post HERE.
Lets talk Pilcro Denim.
Pilcro is an in house brand for Anthropologie. This inclusive denim line is carried at Anthro in sizes 00-26W, this time of year you can find more than just denim under the Pilcro hood, there are corduroy pants as well(more on that in my next blog post). Like all things that Anthropologie produces this line of denim is high quality, therefor you cant get a pair of these for less than 100 bucks(unless you shop sales and promotions).
The pair that I styled for September are called the Pilcro Mid-Rise Slim Boyfriend Jeans, and honestly they are exactly as described. I haven’t worn a “slim boyfriend” style before and now I am hooked! This jean definitely would be considered a true pair of denim, there is a slight stretch but they have the feel of jeans vs the feel of a legging or jegging.
I ordered a size 16W and found them to fit EXACTLY how I want my boyfriend denim to wear. They fit me the exact same way they fit the plus size model(which I secretly love LOL). I would say I am somewhere in between a true 16 and a 16W right now, I like the fit of these. If you like your boyfriend jeans to be less slim and more of a true boyfriend style I would size up.
