HI! Im sorry we missed last weeks blog post. I was traveling and broke my computer, long story short I JUST got it back from Apple. This weeks blog post is actually from last week! Its one I am excited to share!
Bringing some warm weather vacation content to you on this late winter day. I know this time of year we are planning what our swimsuit outfits will look like for vacation and the summer, dreaming of warm weather days and outfits that show off some skin purely because its just too hot to be any other way! I have been lusting after a swim look like this one for years, simple quality pieces that work together to create an effortlessly chic swim look that is great together and just get better as you pull a layer away.
The Suit
I first saw a black bikini like this one on Callie Thorpe, a plus size influencer based in the UK. Ive looked for a black bikini since, that has a high cut leg and a basic bikini top. I found this suit at Andie swim and ordered right away. I love the shape of the bottom, with a higher cut leg opening and ribbed fabric. The fabric is light and crisp with minimal wrinkle, the length is ideal for over a suit and the open sides add some air flow and a little spice!
The Accessories
Keeping in the neutral chic lane of this swim look I wanted to reach for pattern in my accessories. I went with tortoise sunglasses, hoop earrings, and some snake slides. To add texture, some pattern and interest to the outfit. To protect these blonde locks from the sun I put on my favorite Brixton straw hat that has a black band, to draw the suit and hat together! The earrings I styled to go with this look are actually resin/plastic
