Happy Friday! I am planning a quiet weekend in to relax and do some work on the house! But before all of that commences. I wanted to share this fun look!! As you know, Violet is the COLOR OF 2018 and as we inch closer and closer to end of this year this color is still in high demand! The Fall season has brought on an array of dusky lavenders, mauves and purple almost taupe tones. As you know I am all for shopping for new season trends, BUT ALSO big on making items work in my closet over and over. So in todays post I am sharing a new season buy with a last season closet pull.
My fabulous spring lilac paperbag waist pants from Eloquii AND a fall dusty lavender cowl neck sweater from Lane Bryant.
I feel like so often in the fashion world monochrome is just played out in black and white, and admittedly I viewed monochrome as black and white for the longest time. But in actuality monochrome is shades of the same color, and breaking out of the black and white box is SO CHIC.
I love styling sweaters tucked into pants for fall, but not all sweaters are the right weight for tucking. Go for lighter weight sweaters that will not be to bulky when tucked into the front of your pant. After reading reviews on this particular sweater I purchased a size up for more of an oversized fit. I am linking everything up in this post so you can shop! I will also link some straight size options for my 00-12 babes!
