Another Week has slipped by and we are still sheltering at home! In todays blog post I am sharing a couple of Spring trends from Chic Soul, Liz from the blog With Wonder And Whimsy and I each purchased the same two trends in different styles from Chic Soul. We usually style looks and take photos together, but because we cant do that right now we photographed these pieces separately and then sharing photos instead. Its not exactly the same BUT we still had fun!
Spring Style #1 – Tiered Top
Chic Soul regularly keeps a stock of these fabulous and easy to wear Tiered tops! There are a multiple styles, patterns, and fabrics available in this top during any season, I shopped and found this vibrant blue knit top. I love the versatility this style of top allows, in this specific fabric you can rock this silhouette with leggings or with jeans, making this spring trend a good option for how we are living right now.
I styled my tiered knit top with black skinny jeans, and some comfortable black slides, the deep blue paired well with black pants and accessories. This top helped me feel put together, and is an easy solution if you are having to work from home and jump on a video call.
Liz styled her tiered top with jeans as well, her top has a little more structure and looks adorable with glam jeans and white mules! To see more of her look head over to her blog withwonderandwhimsy.com!
Spring Style #2 – Floral Dress
Now I know what you may be thinking, spring florals are ALWAYS a trend. And you are CORRECT, Chic Soul has some fantastic floral options in Spring colors and styles. I purchased this midi style dress in an ivory and soft red floral pattern, I love the colors and the silhouette(it has a little 90’s feel to it). I styled this bohemian dress with booties and big earrings, in Michigan spring weather can be fickle we end up wearing closed toe styles well into May. I would layer a boyfriend style denim jacket over this dress on cooler days, but felt stylish and secure with just the dress and booties!
Liz styled her floral dress with adorable and kitschy heels, and a pink earring. To see more of her look head over to her blog withwonderandwhimsy.com.
