Happy Monday! Today on the blog I am sharing maybe, possibly the most Christmas glam look I have ever styled. Its got it all, faux fur(CHECK), lace(CHECK), Christmas red(CHECK). This glamorous look is from Kiyonna and this dress is one that I have styled before. The Kiyonna Screen Siren is a lace stretch gown that goes right over your head and skims the ground. I love this gown for a black tie wedding and fancy holiday events. This year I styled the Screen Siren with the Kiyonna Faux Fur Cape, nude heels, and a cherry red lip.
Confidence is Key
During the holiday season so many of us see extended family, go to after work events and need outfits for more than just the usual 9-5. An extra dose of confidence can go a long way when seeing people you don’t usually see and going to events you don’t usually go to. When I need an extra dose of confidence I turn to powerful outfits that make me feel great. Colors that I love, silhouettes that compliment my body shape and brands that I know work for my curvy body!
How to Style
When I restyled this dress I wanted to up the glam factor by adding the faux fur cape, I love the way the white and red play off each other for a distinctly holiday look. This year I opted to style the dress with a nude closed toe heal, this heel works better in case of weather AND really downplays the shoe and lets the dress and coat shine. I wear my hair down almost everyday so I stayed with that style for this look. Some big gold hoops completed the look!
The screen siren gown comes in 5 colors(nude not pictured) and is suitable for everything from a wedding guest look to a charity black tie gala to a potential bridesmaids dress style. This type of gown is timeless, from year to year a lace gown will always be in style.
