On the blog today I am sharing how I revamped a dress that I have already put on the blog(you can see that HERE). So often in blogging I receive dresses, wear them one time and then I never wear them again. My closet fills up and then I end up donating the items or consigning them. I really hate this process, so I work to pick items to blog about that I really really love. And in todays post you are going to see something RARE. I am blogging the same dress twice. Styled two different ways, I wore this dress out for an afternoon date day with my husband. I felt beautiful, comfortable and happy all day.
The last time I styled this dress, I wore it with platform heels and my hair naturally curly. I wanted to show off the little details in this dress, so I kept it simple with the accessories. This time around I am styling it for a fun afternoon at the fair, so I needed flat shoes, a layer if it gets chilly AND its a fun colorful fair so I thought I would add a neck scarf and some fun hoops! As a plus size woman I have questioned whether of not a neck scarf would look cute, and I even asked my husband if he thought it was cute(he said no) but I never really listen to what he says about fashion hahahaha. This Eloquii dress is so well made, it looks beautiful and flows wonderfully. It feels like a summer dress that will last season after season, I plan on styling it again with a white tee shirt underneath.
Keith and I went to the fair so we could get some fair food, and just walk around and look at the different booths and games. Something that we both talked about while we were walking around on the midway was HOW EXPENSIVE IT IS. When I was a kid we went to the state fair every year, we would take our horses and go show then we would go on rides and all over the midway. It was a blast and I had no idea my parents had to pay a small fortune for me to ride the rides and have fun. Thanks mom! ๐
