Avenue Fashion Bash 2018. This post is sponsored by Avenue. To read more about Avenue and Loralette go HERE.
Happy Friday!! Today on the blog I am sharing a recap of the fantastic Avenue Fashion Bash event I attended in Sterling Heights MI this past Saturday!! My blogger bestie and I were there to help host the event and share in all the fun, it was great meeting and interacting with Avenue shoppers, I loved getting feedback from them about clothes and seeing how the Avenue babes styled the models. When you work behind a computer for a living its SO IMPORTANT to get out and shop with other curvy babes!! There are loads of pictures to share from the day so I am going to keep the writing short this week, and really add captions to the pictures!
Liz and I each showed up in Avenue looks, we wanted to make sure we were representing from the start!! For the event we were each gifted a look to wear and chat about, it was a blast shopping in store for a look, and really work on building a look with in store items! I went with a melted caramel woven top from Loralette and some jeggings. I wrapped a plaid sweater around my waist to add some texture and definition to the look. I brought a pair of last season Avenue booties to wear with the look I picked out and my leopard bag. I love wearing this color in the fall, it feels warm, earthy and just right with my hair and skin tone. Liz styled some embroidered denim with a soft emerald top and coordinating ruana. It was SO FUN meeting with the Sterling Heights Avenue team!! They were so supportive and bubbly! The Sterling Heights store was IMPECCABLE, and HUGE, each “shop” within the store had its own vibe and coordinating pieces which I really appreciate that way its easy to put looks together.
My favorite looks from the fashion show!!
There were SO MANY looks to choose from when it comes to picking a favorite. I went with my top six, and love each look for different reasons. From the models rocking their curves and looking great to some standout fall pieces, it was a blast seeing the way the different looks came to life on the model. Don’t worry I will be linking everything(if I can) so you can shop this blog post if you want!!
