The 2020 holiday season is underway and this year I am excited to bring you a couple of different gift guides! To kick off my holiday posts I wanted to get one the biggest sections we shop for crossed off the list, and that would be the men in our life. Each year I like to share a curated list of items that I either am shopping for my own family or I have gifted in the past. Today I am sharing my 2020 Outdoorsy Mens Gift Guide, with a specific type of man in mind. You know him, you love him it’s the outdoorsy guy in your life. Now I happen to be married to the outdoorsy guy, you might have him as a son, friend, fiancee, boyfriend. You name it. Todays gift guide is geared towards getting him nice things that he can get dirty or active in! I have included a few items that I have personally bought for my husband in past years, ranging in price point from over a hundred bucks to just 5 dollars(like Keiths favorite t-shirts)! This year I am looking for some nice slippers, that he can wear in the house and slip out to the garage in as well as adding to his growing collection of Patagonia fleeces.

My husband is always shopping at REI, Duluth Trading Co, and Dicks Sporting Goods. So during the holidays I like to shop at different stores to pull different clothing options into his closet and to surprise him! I mostly get his Christmas from Nordstrom, and this year I am adding Back Country Outfitters into the mix!
Shoes to shop
On this list I’ve included some on trend Moc toe boots that are good for harsh climates, and happen to be super trendy right now! Just because your man is into the mud and muck it doesn’t mean he cant have a few nice things in his closet. I also linked up the pair of slippers that I have in my cart for Keith, and his favorite hiking boots! I purchased those for him a few years ago after my puppy ate his other pair, LOL. They have stood the test of time and he continues to go back to them year after year.
Sweaters + Flannels That Are Date Night Worthy
Ok, LOL this one is a big one in my life! I LOVE that my guy is busy outdoors and likes to get into stuff, but his clothes are perpetually dirty, ripped or stained. HE even jokes that when we go places we dont look like a couple, that is until I started investing in a couple NICE pieces of outdoorsy clothing that he can hike in and look stylish going to dinner in. I am specifically calling out the Patagonia fleeces here ladies. I have bought him almost every color, they stand up great aren’t too hot and look so nice..
Comfy Lounge Clothes
Once hunting season wraps up my guy is hanging around the house, I always like to grab him some cute(I mean manly) lounge/athileisure pieces to hang around in. PJ pants, joggers, and simple(and cheap) tees fit the bill. I am linking his favorite $5-$10 dollar tees here, he wears them year round and when the get ruined we have zero guilt about getting new!
Surprise Him
I always like to add a little something that is a surprise to my husbands Christmas, it can be something big and unexpected or something small that I noticed he needs. Either way you are winning. In this group I added some Stance socks(I got Keith some two years ago they are his favorites), I also added a smaller size Yeti and some Kiehls cologne. Just a few things to spark your ideas for your own man
I hope this 2020 Outdoorsy Mens Gift Guide helps you find something for that guy in your life! Make sure to check back here often for more holiday and gift guide fun!
