Kimono Style Wrap Dress. This post contains affiliate links. For more Kimono posts go HERE and HERE.
Happy Wednesday! I know my usual Monday post is late. The week just got away from me, as I adjust to my new schedule. BUT I wanted to share another Kimono style that I have been really loving lately and talk a little bit on how to style a dress like this. I picked up this specific dress at HIPS Resale boutique a few weeks back so I can’t link this exact one. BUT I will link some similar options.
What I love about the Kimono style dress is the deep v-neckline and a-line shape from the bodice down. The specific “Kimono” style sleeve is a signature look that you can find on lots of different types of garments, this sleeve type is best described as loose fitting and squared off at the elbow or wrist. Kimono style dresses are very similar to wrap style type garments, I have found the difference to be in the fabrics and sleeve style. The fabric of a kimono style dress is likely going to be a soft polyester with a sheen to it and on more expensive garments satin or silk is used.
Happy Wednesday!! Stay tuned on my social channels next week! I have some exciting plans and I can’t wait to share!
